ABOUT THE SHOW:
They were told the paint was harmless. In the 1920s, young women at the U.S. Radium factory dipped their brushes, pointed them with their lips, and painted glowing watch dials for soldiers — until their teeth began to fall out. Radium Girls follows dial painter Grace Fryer as she and her coworkers take on the corporation that poisoned them, in a courtroom fight that helped shape modern workers' rights. Inspired by true events, D.W. Gregory's gripping drama is a story of ordinary women who refused to be dismissed, and of the price they paid for telling the truth.
