WINTER AUDITION WORKSHOP
February 19, 2018 (Discount available if enrolling in advance.)
Our Audition Workshops are perfect for new performers to be introduced to the audition process, as well as helping polish our more seasoned performer’s audition materials. You'll work directly with the directors of PPAA productions so that by audition day you are comfortable and confident! We will discuss monologue selection, learn how to warm-up and stay calm, and most importantly, master audition etiquette! Come with something to work on, or use the materials provided. Students will walk away feeling like an audition pro!
Audition workshops cost $25/2-hour workshop. ($20 if enrolled in advance)

Tuesdays, 5:30-6:25pm or Wednesdays, 5:00 - 5:55pm
Storybooks come to life in this beginner drama class as students will learn basic acting and presentation skills through imaginative play, theatre games, and character building activities. This class encourages communication, collaboration, and understanding of story structure!
THE ACTOR TOOLBOX
Tuesdays, 4:30-5:25pm or Wednesdays, 6:00-6:55pm
We are filling the "Actor's Toolbox" with tools necessary for building strong characters in this intermediate acting class! Students will learn and apply acting principles and theatre etiquette through warm-ups, exciting games, and scene study. This class encourages exploration, relationship skills, and critical thinking!
Wednesdays, 5:00 - 5:55pm
Think fast! Young performers will use their imaginations, take risks, and learn how to be in the moment in this fun and energetic improv class! As a team they will create characters, relationships, and scenes unscripted! This class encourages collaboration, mental flexibility, and comedic timing.
Get ready to dance till you drop! Students will learn and apply basic theatrical dance techniques in Ballet, Jazz and Tap to Broadway favorites! This class encourages physical awareness, attention to detail and self-expression!
Tuesdays, 5:00 - 5:55pm
Our intermediate musical theatre students participate in group voice lessons to polish their vocal technique, and use their "toolboxes" to explore and bring characters to life through music. Students will also have the opportunity to collaborate on and perform in an invited showcase. This class encourages vocal technique, work ethic, and self-expression.
Wednesdays, 6:00 - 6:55pm
We are gearing up for a summer of sword fights and ruff and tumble pirates! Students will learn basic fight choreography with hand-to-hand combat and swordplay and choreograph an exciting fight scene! This class encourages safety, physicality, and presentation skills!
TECHNICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP
Saturdays (January 13-March 10), 11:00am – 1:00pm
Get your hands messy in our exciting Technical Workshop. Students explore workshops in costume design, prop making, set building, stage management and lighting! Over the course of 6-8 weeks, students will have had their hands in every step of the creative process and will get the opportunity to see their work showcased on stage in the winter productions of Chivalry Me Timbers & Hear My Song (May even get to join the Backstage CREW!)
Dates and times are subject to change based on enrollment. Classes are first come first served-additional classes may be opened when/if classes fill up.
Bundle classes for $10 off each additional class; Also applies when registering siblings. Does not apply when students are enrolling in a class and a production or audition workshop.
Age ranges are guidelines- Basis for enrollment is experience level. If you believe your child should be considered for a class outside of their age range please email firstname.lastname@example.org for guidance and approval.
