The Lake Country Playhouse InterACT Scholarship

The Lake Country Playhouse InterACT Scholarship was founded to award college scholarships to students pursuing study in theatre arts and who have also shown an investment in the LCP theatre community. It is supported by ongoing contributions from the Ray & Christine Seaver Foundation.

Scholarship(s): (2) $1000 awarded annually

Details: (1) college-level scholarship – currently enrolled in a college or university. (1) high school-level scholarship – intending to attend college or university within the next 12 months.

Preference will be given to declared theatre arts majors and minors. Finalists may be contacted for an interview as part of the selection process. The decision made by the panel of judges shall be final and will be based on the information contained in the application, any attached documentation and/or the interview. Finalists will be notified by March 1st, 2019 and winners will be determined by May 2019.

Requirements: 

  • 100 + hours toward any non-stage role within LCP or The Playhouse Performing Arts Academy. Additional hours are accepted and encouraged and will be weighed appropriately in selection process.
  • Acceptance into, or current enrollment in an accredited college or university
  • Completion of Scholarship Application including personal statement of theatre arts content within degree and intended application upon graduation.
  • 1 letter of recommendation.
  • Transcript submission & GPA of no less than 3.0
